The Selkirk Sentinel is a publication maintained and managed by the students of Selkirk College, in British Columbia Canada.

Mission Statement:

The Sentinel’s goals are to produce a newspaper for students, by students, which is topical, relevant, and conforms to the highest standards of journalism; to produce a newspaper which gives a voice to students and to student issues, and which is independent from any outside influences; and to give opportunities for students to gain skills in all areas of journalism and publishing.
