Politicians should focus on small business because currently the system makes it difficult for new entrepreneurs to get started. If you’re not associated with a “brand-name chain” it’s hard to grow your business. Also education is a big issue in this election. There should be more government money allocated for scholarships and bursaries to entice people to go back to school without financial burden, because education is where it’s at – it’s too hard to get ahead without it.

I think the funding that’s going into schools and healthcare – basically money should be going where it needs to go – for example education. Why is the government putting money into things like improving roads, when students are paying over $600 for textbooks? Overall, governments should strive to eliminate the widening gap between the rich and the poor (i.e. students).

Accountability. It’s a fairly important issue that has never been resolved. Represent the people.

I think that childcare is an important issue. It gives people more opportunity to get a full-time job or go back to school, especially if they are a single parent.
